“So i took these out for a ride today. Finally got my new build finished.

Fuckin Ace. Really nice job Joao. They felt utterly safe. Put em through some paces too. Felt nice n solid on my feet. It was pissing with rain here too and i still felt good confidence with the ‘connect’ to my bike.

My only caveat it getting used to these big ass BMX pedals. This isnt the straps fault, I’m just used to little metal jobs that flick round a bit easier when engaging the non-drive-side foot. On my racer I have clipless too and have got used to the ease of the SPD interface. My commute is so fucking short now this build was supposed to just be a bit of a fun bike though so I’m happy to allow this small irritation.

So yeah.. a resounding ‘yes mate’. Nice job chap. You’ll be hearing from a few collegues of mine soon.”
